Soldier butchered on London street

Two attackers hacked a soldier to death on the streets in Woolwich. After they left the victim bleed to death on the streets they approached bystanders and declared: ‘You people will never be safe.’ One of them clutched a bloodied machete and a large carving knife in his blood soaked hand while trying to justify the slaughter in footage captured by ITV. ‘I apologise that women had to witness this today – but in our land our women have to see the same,’ he said. The two murderers urged the bystanders to record everything and to call the police. The police arrived and gunned them down.

My opinion

I was in London when this happened and two fellow students and I were talking about how respectful everyone is to one another. We were standing in front of Buckingham Palace when this attack happened a couple miles away. I am utterly shocked by everything, it is horrific and sickening. I don’t understand how people can do such a thing. It is terrible for his family and other loved ones. I am also saddened that these beasts use religion as a reason committing such a murder. They should be jailed for life. I have nothing else to say about this.
